“Coffee, Coffee, Coffee.” - Lorelei Gilmore

I approach therapy from the understanding that we are highly motivated by core emotional needs. I help facilitate understanding and compassion for the often confusing and contradictory nature of what we think, feel, need, believe, and ultimately do. Unnecessary inner conflict can be simplified by making intentional choices and taking full accountability for our lives as much as possible.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). My areas of expertise are treating anxiety disorder with a specialization in treating OCD. I use a combination of approached - my Big Three - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Parts Work from Internal Family Systems.

While staying solution focused in every session, I take time to focus on increasing self-trust, honoring inner wisdom, and changing the limiting stories we tell ourselves. A key sign of progress to me is being able to bridge the distance between the most polarizing parts of ourselves.

In my free time, I indulge my need for constant learning by watching a lot of documentaries, listening to podcasts, and reading. When I'm not craving  alone time, I like to cook and relax with my husband and spoil my cat, Emmett. I look forward to the strides we can make and I feel honored to be a part of your journey.
