Psychotherapist

“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Qubein

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree from Drexel University. I became a therapist after a very personal journey with mental health, caregiving, and women’s health—experiences that give me a unique blend of lived understanding and evidence-based practice. Entering this field later in life as a second career also gives me a unique perspective: I understand firsthand what it means to navigate transitions, redefine identity, and pursue growth at any stage of life. I see it as a privilege to walk alongside my clients in their journeys, offering presence, support, and tools along the way.

I work with adolescents through adults, with a focus on the ways mental health is shaped across life stages—from the pressures of high school and early adulthood, to parenting, career building, and the transitions of midlife and beyond. I support clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, and OCD, while also addressing the unique experiences of  new moms, women in perimenopause and menopause, marriage, empty nesting, and the sandwich generation.

In my sessions, I integrate CBT, DBT, Choice Theory, and Polyvagal Theory, incorporating somatic practices that emphasize the mind–body connection. I believe that tuning into the body is a powerful pathway for healing, regulation, and lasting change.

I approach therapy in an authentic, steady, and strengths-based way. Clients often tell me they feel both supported and challenged—in the best sense—to try something new, protect their energy, and align daily choices with what matters most.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, skiing, yoga, spending time with my family, and coaching youth sports.
