“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for; we are the change that we seek.”

Our worlds are complex, with so many opportunities for stress to overwhelm us, and it can feel impossible to manage at times. Our thoughts and behaviors end up reflecting the chaotic worlds we live in and cause many of us to feel like we’ve lost our inner sense of self. Through an eclectic therapeutic approach, I work with clients in defining their personal goals and attaining their most authentic selves.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from NYU in 2017. During that time, I gained diverse experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with chronic mental health and physical health challenges. I also have a great deal of specialized experience working with individuals and families navigating cancer diagnoses. I welcome all ages and genders, with a particular interest in emotional and behavioral health in children and adolescents. Through my experience, I have developed a strong foundation in meaning-centered psychotherapy and CBT.

I am passionate about helping clients access their inner strengths to find purpose in their lives, despite traumatic life experiences. My personal life experiences reinforced my calling to become a therapist. I believe that even in our most painful depths of despair, we always have hope and strength within us - sometimes we just need to learn how to find them. I am grateful to work with clients in the private practice setting and provide them with the support they need to navigate through life’s many challenges.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, journaling, and spending time with loved ones. My favorite weekend activity is spending time outside with my Old English Sheepdog, Daisy, and reading.
